Golf Clubs near Camberley

Find your nearest golf course or club or golf pro in or around Camberley. Actually this is really great way to see all the golf courses around Surrey at a glance. You will see distances and directions from you location and of course the all-important telephone number to check green fees and whether you can play when you want to play. Whenever I want to play it seems to be a Medal Day!

Tip! If you would like a cheap round of golf ask whether they do a Twilight rate. There is really nothing nicer than 9 holes after work - at half price!

Golf Courses

Pine Ridge Golf Club

Old Bisley Road, Frimley, Camberley GU16 9NX, UK – 01276 675444

Nice course, well kept green. Reasonable food but very slow service hopefully new chef will vastly improve this service. Clubhouse opening times varies - been there at 0700 several times but club house never opens until 715 - 720, can't get a coffee before t-ing. Opportunity to be a really great club and club house - as usual it is down to the management. 3/5

Called them up, the girl couldn't even give me her name. When I asked her to repeat herself she still wasn't clear and had an attitude. Also spoke to her colleague who was also not friendly and not accommodating. Both seemed to have serious attitude and seemed like they didn't need any more custom. Took our business to Clandon and really enjoyed it there instead. Can't really comment on the course, but would highly recommend Clandon. Eventually went there for a round and really enjoyed it there. Lovely course. I went again and because it hadn't rained for a long time the grass was so dry, most of the ground and tees were rock solid and hard to get underneath the ball, still enjoyed it. Only gave it three stars because of the pricing issues I've had with Crown Golf, especially at Pyrford, similar at Pine Ridge.

What can I say? I have had nine lessons over maybe four or five months with Murdoch. My handicap was 14 when I had my first lesson then very rapidly dropped to 12. Yesterday I played to 4 and am thanking my lucky stars it wasn't a qualifier! Thanks, Murdoch, for taking me right down to the basics and insisting I perform them properly!

Very impressed with the set up , very friendly and professional guys . I went for a taster lesson and was so pleased with the results and the info I received I booked a 10 lesson package. After first lesson I couldn’t believe the difference in my ball striking . I’ve had so many lessons in the past ,on the range and golf course , by far this one was the most rewarding, Thanks Matt for your help . Looking forward to my coaching.

Having used the custom fitting for my putter and now for my 3 wood, I wouldn’t buy any clubs any other way. The advice and lack of sale presssure helps you make the right choice every time. Very happy

American Golf Camberley have and always will be my one stop shop for golf gear, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Camberley Heath Golf Club

Heath Golf Club, Camberley GU15 1JG, UK – 01276 23258

Love this place. Wonderful parkland track that is being slowly and carefully developed to improve even more. Some wonderful holes that provide a tough challenge, some open fairways o really punch a driver down and the par 3s are a great rest of your golf. If you start off the beaten track a little you won't be punished but be careful of the spots of heather dotted around the course, they eat golf balls! Clubhouse is modern and welcoming with friendly staff and good range of food and drinks. Wonderful patio overlooking the 18 green. I think, a quintessential English club. £30 green fees when playing with a member and an offer for twilight golf, too. Well stocked Pro shop with a friendly and welcoming pro to boot. Watch out for the 18th! A stray drive gets eaten by the heather carpet and the chip up to the elevated green is a challenge, but you'll love it. Any birdie feels like you have really earned it, anywhere on the course.

Great course and nice clubhouse
